    Our 5km – 10km progression group graduated on November 5th with a 10km run at MoRun Birmingham. Plenty of Harriers were there to support our progression runners on their first 10km race. The event also provided a 5km and 21km race.

    Along with the usual Parkrun results, we’ve got an update on the Virtual London Marathon results, one of our C2A runners taking on a half marathon, running in budapest, the inaugural Wellington (very nearly) 10km and a half marathon in Manchester… if only there was a full marathon there too… πŸ€”

    The Essington Harriers were at East Park taking over the volunteer roles as part of their Tourism & Takeover series, we also had runners at Stafford 10k, Tissington & Warrington Half Marathons, and then Canine running and the London Marathon.

    The past few weeks saw Harriers taking part in a number of runs and races, there was a 200th Parkrun, a host of Parkrun PBs, a soggy run in Lithuania, the Lichfield & Wolverhampton 10ks and some little known run in the North East.

    This week the Essington Harriers found themselves taking part in a number of 10km challenges. There were castles, hills and beer on offer, along with some Parkrunning.

    The very first Runthrough Wolves10k took place on 27th March 2022 and the Essington Harriers were there in force!

    HAPPY NEW YEAR! We’re into 2022 and starting off strong, with Harriers heading off to parkruns, the return of club night running and a new members course to take our 5km runners up to 10km ready for the Wolves 10km in March.
