MoRun 2023
Our 5km – 10km progression group graduated on November 5th with a 10km run at MoRun Birmingham. Plenty of Harriers were there to support our progression runners on their first 10km race. The event also provided a 5km and 21km race.

Week 10 : Stafford & Lisbon Half Marathon
This week we had runners at Parkrun, Stafford Half Marathon and over in Lisbon running a Half Marathon too.

Week 40 & 41
Along with the usual Parkrun results, we’ve got an update on the Virtual London Marathon results, one of our C2A runners taking on a half marathon, running in budapest, the inaugural Wellington (very nearly) 10km and a half marathon in Manchester… if only there was a full marathon there too… π€

Week 38 & 39 – T&T#7 and London Marathoning
The Essington Harriers were at East Park taking over the volunteer roles as part of their Tourism & Takeover series, we also had runners at Stafford 10k, Tissington & Warrington Half Marathons, and then Canine running and the London Marathon.

Week 37 – RIP Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II
Our Summer Couch To Awesomeness runner completed their course with a Parkrun at Chasewater, and Liz Gardner goes from 0 races to half marathon in a matter of weeks.

Week 35 & 36 – Great (North) Running
The past few weeks saw Harriers taking part in a number of runs and races, there was a 200th Parkrun, a host of Parkrun PBs, a soggy run in Lithuania, the Lichfield & Wolverhampton 10ks and some little known run in the North East.

Week 29 & 30
It’s a double week update this week but not much running to report on. Parkruns and Compton Verney Half Marathon from Dave and Gary who are in full on Marathon training.

Week 26 – Long Running π πββοΈπ¨
Some amazing running put in over the past week, with hot club runs to contend with, a Parkrun birthday and some long miles on Sunday. Great work by the Essington Harriers all ’round.
