The Harriers were out enjoying some spring sunshine at the Florette Fradley 10K on the 8th March.
I always look upon this race as the season opener ! A short drive to a little village just outside Lichfield for a popular and well attended event.
This was an opportunity to get those Essington Harriers vests and T-shirts on display and we didn’t disappoint.
On a personal level I enjoyed the race and was pleased with my time but Harriers as a team were magnificent with lots of PB’s and high age category finishes. It was also the first time some had represented Essington for the first time and they did themselves and the club proud !
With the 40th London Marathon coming soon, we thought you’d like to hear about our London Marathon entrants ‘Road To London’ training for a first Marathon, getting those important long miles in and dealing with the head over heart (and lungs, and legs) battle!
