The Harriers were out enjoying some spring sunshine at the Florette Fradley 10K on the 8th March.

I always look upon this race as the season opener ! A short drive to a little village just outside Lichfield for a popular and well attended event.

This was an opportunity to get those Essington Harriers vests and T-shirts on display and we didn’t disappoint.

On a personal level I enjoyed the race and was pleased with my time but Harriers as a team were magnificent with lots of PB’s and high age category finishes. It was also the first time some had represented Essington for the first time and they did themselves and the club proud !

Until next time

Essington Harriers takeover the volunteering at East Park Parkran this morning despite storm Dennis making himself known.

Well done to all the runners today!

A challenging two lap run around Sutton Park, some of the inclines are unforgiving but its a lovely course and would recommend this race.

The Mo Run in November use the same course route if anyone fancies the challenge.

I had a great race at the Dewsbury 10K in Yorkshire on 2nd Feb 2020. Running with my cousin on her first 10K with a target time of about 1h15m, she was really pleased when we crossed the line at 1h2m.
