After a long wet winter of training, the London Marathon is finally here and the Essington Harriers will be in attendance with 12 runners taking on the iconic TCS London Marathon 2024.

Week 3 – 500th Parkrun
This weekend saw Parkrun PB’s for Kerry Garratt, Rachael Hayes and Clair Haywood and an amazing joint 500th Parkrun & 500th Parkrun Volunteer Credit to Michael Elwell – an outstanding achievement!

Week 1-3
The year started off with a few Parkrun PBs, inaugural events and a decent amount of tourism.
MoRun 2023
Our 5km – 10km progression group graduated on November 5th with a 10km run at MoRun Birmingham. Plenty of Harriers were there to support our progression runners on their first 10km race. The event also provided a 5km and 21km race.
Stafford Harriers Staffordshire Relays 2023
On Wednesday 14th May we headed up the M6 to take part in the Stafford Harriers Relays.
The London Marathon
The TCS London Marathon 2023 was epic as always, and Essington Harriers were proud to have four club runners there this year.
