Week 40 & 41

Along with the usual Parkrun results, we’ve got an update on the Virtual London Marathon results, one of our C2A runners taking on a half marathon, running in budapest, the inaugural Wellington (very nearly) 10km and a half marathon in Manchester… if only there was a full marathon there too… πŸ€”

In our London Marathon post we managed to miss off one of our virtual marathon runners. Ralph has been recovering from a running injury and was not able to put in as many training miles as is ideal, so his solo marathon effort is even more amazing! Well done Ralph πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ¦…

Budapest 14k for me today, I’ve had a sickness bug since I got here so decided to walk it and strengthen my mental health πŸ˜ͺ. Long day in the office for me.. But I finished and I got a medal and t shirt, a nice dry salad and some cheese biscuits 🀣 on the plus side I also got to take loads of pics

Wellington 10Km

We trundled over to Wellington to take part in the inaugural 10km road race around Wrockwardine and Admaston. It’s a really nice route, bit of a hill in it and some great running locations. If they add another 500 meters it will be perfect!

It was very nearly a 10km!
