March saw the ever popular Stafford Half Marathon with a good turnout of Essington Harriers putting in some amazing efforts over the 21.1km

Wolverhampton 10k
The very first Runthrough Wolves10k took place on 27th March 2022 and the Essington Harriers were there in force!
Ironman
Our very own Men’s Captain, Chris Davis, took on the Ironman 140.6 Bolton event, with a 3.9km swim, 180.2km bike ride and a 42.2km run. This is the ultimate endurance and fitness event and Chris came out of it still smiling, what a hero 💪🦅
Fradley 10k
Another great turnout from the Essington Harriers and some great times put in by all the runners in quite warm conditions. Special shoutout to Lucy and Belinda who were doing their first 10k races
Birmingham Black Country Half Marathon
The return to running weekend kicked off with the Birmingham Black Country Half Marathon, which is fitting as the last event before lockdown was the Stafford Half Marathon.

EHRC VLM 2020
Club Chairman Chris Dodd won the EHRC club London Marathon place for 2020, but due to covid restrictions ended up running it around Essington in a virtual race.
