Massive congratulations to our Couch To Awesomeness group who graduated at East Park Parkrun on Saturday 20th November with the Sneyd Striders volunteering out on the course as our fledgling runners debuted.

This weekend the Harriers were Parkrunning, Rollercoastering and smashing Derby.
Week 44 : MoRun & Parkrun
The Essington Harriers were out at Parkrun and taking on the MoRunner in Birmingham this weekend.
Week 43 : Chester & Coventry
This weekend saw a few Harriers out braving the rain and running at Parkrun, Coventry Half Marathon and Chester 10km.
Week 42
This weekend the Harriers were Parkrunning, Rock N Rolling and having a gentle jog around Church Stretton.
Week 41
This weekend the Harriers were Parkrunning in pink, 10k-ing in Scarborough, and Lichfield half-marathoning.
Week 40
The Cannock Chase Trail ‘Tough Mudder’ 10km, Silverstone 10km, and Manchester Half were amongst the weekend running plans for Essington Harriers, along with Parkrun of course!

Awesomeness To Parkrun
It was so good to once again remind people #DFYBC. With the culmination of the Couch to Awesomeness group celebrating with their first 5k event, the Essington Harriers were out in force at Chasewater Parkrun this weekend.
Changing to more flexible running groups
With the government about to relax some more of the restrictions in place to prevent the spread of COVID19, the committee have decided to relax the ‘rule of six’ that we have been sticking to with our running groups.
